The Republicans have pulled a master stroke, by their standards. They announced today they will propose reinstating Glass Seagal. Hillary can’t follow suit as Wall Street completely lost their shit today, calling the Republicans insane. She simply can’t go there as they publically and privately fund her.
Trump is going after Wall Street as that’s the one issue that might convince a small number of Bernie supporters to vote for him. Wall Street and the too big to fail banks are the # issue for young educated voters. A lot of them believe the democratic primaries were corrupted (what a surprise, it’s a Clinton), and hate her enough to vote for her opponent. Especially if he is saying the things they care about.
If this sticks Trump will romp home, while the democrats are busy dissecting Melania’s speech.
