Racism and anti-semitism arenât exclusive to any race, or any religion, or any part of the political spectrum, or at least among people who may think they occupy a certain part of the political spectrum.
This guy was not a liberal, both through his own words and also because anti-semitism and a liberal worldview are fundamentally incompatible - liberalism by definition is the exact opposite of such views. If you hold such views, you cannot, by definition, be a liberal. Note the difference between liberalism and left-wing - you can of course be left-wing in an economic sense and be a racist or an anti-semite.
That this chap was a bad egg was figured out pretty quickly by The Intercept, who sacked him a little over a year after he started working for them. But nice try to link a publication you donât like to this sort of worldview, when its editorial stance is the exact opposite.
It in no way takes away from the utterly shameful nature of Trumpâs attempt to claim that recent anti-semitic attacks were false flags, possibly perpetrated by the Jewish community themselves.
And it in no way takes away from the general racist and anti-semitic nature of this administration and its rhetoric, and the incitement to hatred it evinces.
There are still 92 other bomb threats by other people out there to be investigated.
