How has Haiti done in comparison to Cuba? Two very comparable countries, one is socialist and has one of the best healthcare systems in the world and a good standard of living for its people, the other is an unfettered free market paradise and also a complete basket case.

The IMF inflicts these conditions on countries, for sure, but has any country actually adopted unfettered (no govt interference, no protectionism, no tariffs, fair taxation etc.) capitalism?
