I believe with many non-americans, itās not so much support of the rapist, itās more an opposition to a woman having power, or someone who isnāt white. Although, for some I believeā¦itās because it rationalises their own history or thoughts of sexual violence.

Trump had his greatest ever result in terms of the number of people voting for him when he was running against a fellow old, white man. He got 12 million (thatās two Irelands worth) more votes running against a man than against a woman
I donāt understand how thatās relevant.
Trump is clearly deeply misogynist and racist. I expect you accept that. So for people that say theyād vote for him it shows some level of tolerance or acceptance of that. Itās not unreasonable to query that.

Do you think itās acceptable, not that bad, makes you uneasy but you can hold your nose about it, it must be ok because some women or people of colour voted for him. Itās obviously acceptable to you to some degree, whatās your take on it?
If itās acceptable to 74 million people in his electorate it doesnāt matter whether itās acceptable to me. And if itās not, the heāll lose.
