Iran International are the original source of that article, a multiple award winning credible reporting organization. Their sources are from within the Iranian Intelligence community. I have a few close Persian friends with family in Iran and the reports are horrendous, at least 35,000 and maybe 50,000 slaughtered in two days, security forces going through hospitals and executing the wounded.
It’s interesting the very different reaction in the west, or lack of reaction, versus the killing in Gaza, quite the opposite in fact. Attempts to downplay reports of numbers dead, while blindly believing or embellishing all reports from Gaza, most of which originated from Hamas. Where are the street protests? Why aren’t Greta and Liam Cunningham on their way to the region? Not a peep out of the usual suspects in the Dail or on TFK.
It’s almost as if Iranian lives do not matter, or is it that criticism of an Islamic regime is off limits?
