I only get my information from RT, FuckMeSexyVlad.com and that website where a load of Russia-loving nepo babies relentlessly pushed by Elon Musk’s algorithm all nod along with each other, and I can confirm the Russians are relentlessly routing the Ukrainians.
Off the streets of which town/city? Clonmel? Wexford? Galway? Dublin??

It really hasn’t. Ukraine can slow the russian advance with drones, it can create some inconvenience in russia by attacking civilians and civilian infrastructure, and it can cause limited ongoing damage to oil refineries. But it cant match russia in any meaningful way.
The western media has made continuous claims about the extent of russian losses, antiquated russian weaponry, stripping washing machines, fighting with spades, the triumph of the kursk invasion, the promise of counter offensives etc. All have been proven wrong, but not before theyve been quietly dropped by the likes of the guardian. Meanwhile bakmut, mariupol, kherson, aadivka etc all fall into russian hands. And you’ll never see any headlines in the guardian.
Trump will be happy enough to see Ukraine gradually deplete itself on the battlefield, so long as it provides a thorn in the side of russia. This was always the US intention, since the end of ww2, but especially now that iran is an adversary.
Avoid any article which begins with the ubiquitous phrases “russia’s full-scale invasion”, or “russia’s unprovoked attack”. These are standard issue mi6 ear worms, they bear no relation to reality.

I watched a documentary on the Kursk during the week. There was heat from the press at the time on how Putin dealt with it. In the aftermath he tore down any dissenting voices within the Russian media and had some of them murdered. He allowed the crew of the Kursk to die and used it against independent Russian journalism and replaced it with journalism more sympathetic to his own views (and yours). There was a clip where a mother of one of the crew was giving a general a right telling off in a public gorum. One lady in uniform went to console and comfort her by darting her with a sedative. The independent media were removed from proceedings.
The western media may have their issues but I would treat their reporting with a lot less cynicism than whetever you get your information from. Your record on sourcing accurate information on Covid, vaccines and the Russian invasion leaves a lot to be desired.
