Yes I am quite sure.
Did you move into the right lane/move towards the right of the road before you let him pass?
If you have an accident with another vehicle on a roundabout it is probable your insurance company will treat it as a 50/50 even though you were driving through it as you are required to. They will say it is too hard to apportion blame/responsbility so just split it.
City quay is very narrow at that point, so lateral movement is not really an option.
What do you have to submit each year to retain the driving license?
[quote=āFran, post: 165960, member: 110ā]-Cunts flying up behind you on the motorway when your doing 120kmph in the āovertakingā lane and flashing their lights at you in a āget the fuck out of my way, Iām very importantā manner. This is when I pretend I donāt see them and slow down

I canāt agree with you here bro. It is an overtaking lane. When youāre in that lane you overtake. If you are not overtaking you stay in the left lane.
I drive pretty fast on the motorway. I have no problem with someone driving at whatever speed as long as they overtake the car relatively quickly (you should amend your speed in the overtaking lane so it is sufficient to overtake whatever it is you are trying to overtake). Thatās what I do when there is some car up my arse and then pull in and let them go. itās the sauntering along in the overtaking lane (and yes that could be at 120kmph), not overtaking anything that annoys me. There is a lane for that - itās the left lane.
There is something in the rules of the road about passing out and doing so WITHOUT DELAY. That could be applied to the overtaking lane on a motorway.

+1 farmer. Itās a real ignorant Kilkenny thing to do sitting in the outside lane doing the 120 and deciding to police the speed limit for the entire fucking motorway. Pull out, overtake and then get the fuck out of there.
Was driving into work this morning and was the junction of Harolds Cross and the Canal(beside the AM/PM Shop) There are 2 lanes 1 for going Straight and left and the other for going Straight and Right. Anyway Im in the right hand lane as I wanted to go right onto the Canal. So the light goes green but I cant go right because of on coming traffic. Next thing this Fella in Jag starts beeping the horn. Then he holds down the horn and starts flashing his lights. Finally he pull out from behind me into the left hand lane, Stops the car and starts pointing at me. Fucking asehole. Green arrow light then came on and I turned right onto the canal
Was it Mike Baldwin?

You were once a sit in the overtaking lane man, werenāt you? Iām sure there was a row about this on TFK in around 2009.

Iām very much in the other camp. If Iām overtaking cars on the right hand lane and doing 120 or 125 and some prick wants to go 150 and heās behind me then fuck him. Iām not pulling into the inside lane that might be doing 100 just to help him out. Nor am I going to speed up just because he feels like it. The world has traffic, deal with it.
On an unrelated matter I donāt like the new trend for red light filter arrows. Why are we changing to those? Thereās one at the Alfie Byrne Road there and one for the turn to Portmarnock via Baldoyle coming from Sutton Cross.

totally agreeā¦if you are doing 120 you shouldnāt have to move because the cunt behind you is breaking the law doing 150ā¦
Thatās the problem, we were never educated on how to use a motorway, if you are not overtaking you should not be in the right hand lane.
but generally you are overtaking the cars in the other lane when you are in the right hand lane so there is little point edging in and out per car you pass like you are playing a computer gameā¦
Oh breaking the law!ā
Wonāt someone please think of the children?
The overtaking lane is for overtaking, not driving, you cunts.
There might be a hint in the name.

In that case I would have no problem you using the overtaking lane so long as you pass the bloody cars out and then move in to allow whoever it is behind you to plough on about their own business.
On an other note Iād say you drive like a girl.
