I was only born about 9 months at the time and was wrapped up in the Hogan Stand looking on so only have a vague recollection of it. Last night’s encounter will surely go down as one of the greatest astro league division 7 matches of all time. Bandage was sensational and made a couple of unbelievable saves in the first half to keep the match alive. We dug deep in the second half with and Smelly and Stevie G taking the game by the ‘scruff of the neck’. Everbody worked their socks off to be fair and it was a remarkable victory given the circumstances. Quality were intent on ruining our title aspirations from the off and began to resort to throwing elbows and the like:guns:.
