You should have went to bed, Farmer.

Vincent calling out the party leaders to come on the show before there is any general election to have a big debate. He said Gilmore is keen to come on and will be on next week. He was critical of Kenny and Cowen, who he said have refused invitations to come on the show. He was critical of Kenny more than any of them, iāve seen him put the boot in on Kenny before. He really despises him. Kenny knows he canāt come on the show as Vincent will tear him a new oneā¦
He also called one of the panelists a ānerdā there a minute agoā¦
Heās said that countless times. Surely theyād be well able for him? Lenihan ran rings around him.
Tonightās show has been exceedingly boring. I donāt think itās a coincidence that Fionnan Sheehan is one of the panellists.
Yeah I watched 5 minutes or so and it was crap. Donāt think that extended holiday has helped the show at all. Next time he goes he wonāt be back.
fair point, any of the replacements, with the exception of that complete gom colleran would be an improvement
Vincent is seething with Eamonn ĆāCuiv here. Eamonn said he feels thereās no blame whatsoever attached to the Fianna FĆ”il government for the current fiasco.
Vincent Browne, following a persistent line of questioning, just asked Eamon OāCuiv does he believe that the government has any culpability for the fiasco of the economy.
āNoā, says OāCuiv.
:o
Just posted that on the tv thread. Unbelievable scenes.
I wonder how he came to spell his name OāCuiv, seeing as there is no V in the Irish language.
Gas seeing him trying to worm out of it. Accused Browne of playing word games when it was a clear question, repeated a number of times:
āDo you think the government bears any responsibility for the current fiasco?ā
āNo.ā
Vincent then went off on a rant interspersed with pauses and repetition of the question
Eventually, OāCuiv came back with:
āI said we had bore no responsibility for the decisions the banks made. You were alluding to the banks.ā
Cue Vincent having a go at him for playing the word games and telling him the electorate would have witnessed his behaviour.
Browne is very overrated as an interviewer. Sure OāCuiv is an absolute gombeen.
Sure its not the first time heād try to change a name to suit himselfā¦
But denying any government responsibility whatsoever for the current malaise takes this to a whole new level.
Incredible really.
Heās at his best when heās at his most cantankerous. That programme last last week with Conor Lenihan, Lucinda Creighton and Mary Lou McDonald was vintage Vinnie.
Iād sort of agree with that. He lets his emotions go wild at stages, especially where he looks like heād throttle a guest for an answer. He does get answers though.
This is fucking comical.
Vincentās off on one completely out of the blue again. Tremendous stuff.
Are people angry with Fianna FƔil?
How do you know? Do you walk the streets?
Do you walk the streets without a minder?
You probably stay in your car?
Speaking of which, weāre going to have all these cuts and tax measures in the budget and youāll still get driven around in a massively expensive car.
Why donāt you get the train?
Why?
And so on.
OāCuiv: āThereās a huge amount of anger out there at the momentā
Browne: āWith Fianna Fail?ā
OāCuiv: āNot in my experience, noā
Who is it with Eamonn, the tooth fairy?
Vinnieās main strength is that he treats politician guests with utter contempt.
Donāt we all at this stage.
