Yes, but money talks. Easier to sit back and watch an implosion bolster their ratings than hitting into an election financially challenged.
Also, too many FF TDās reigned in high profile positions while this whole McCabe story emerged and festered. They canāt come through this whole story clean for too much longer.
This is running rapidly into a situation where an election canāt be avoided.
That parties donāt want one will become irrelevant.
Theyāll be pushed into one.
Thereās plenty of life in this story yet.
Fianna Fail really have drastically changed the burden of proof they require for somebody in a major law enforcement position to resign.
