Whats your view of him and the border campaign of the time?

An illegal border enforced by an occupying force. Some of their actions were questionable but they were men of their time and deeply hurt that some in the south were willing to stand by and watch our brothers in the north be subjugated to an apartheid like state. Sean was a zealot, another Pearse. He had his flaws but who doesn’t. A great man who hated Chelsea and their links to Combat 18.

A bit like the sniffy attitude in the south to the Ulster Football Championship, it’s all about Volunteer South and not a word about Volunteer O’Hanlon. @Nembo_Kid will be seething over this latest anti-Ulster bias.

I also heard he resented Oirish people supporting a club founded by a member of the Orange Order.

Is Maria Duce still revered in Limerick?

Listen, mate… There were men from Dublin and from Cork, Fermanagh and Tyrone but the leader was a Limerick man, Sean South from Garryowen.

While his Church engaged in industrial levels of child sexual abuse in this State.

You’re Italian, you’d know nothing about it, kid. Stick to sodomy, that’s Rome’s legacy.

Rome civilised the world.

The Irish civilized the world.

The Oirish can’t even civilise themselves, mate.

The cracks in the Provisional IRA hardcore @Nembo_Kid & @ChocolateMice of TFK caused by British soccer. Just fantastic.

Are there still 2 parades in Limerick ?? Partitionist Sinn Fein and Republican Sinn Fein ???

Huh? Brothers argue all the time, mate. I’d kill for @Nembo_Kid and @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy tho I disagree with them on many things.

I’m pretty sure he wasn’t from Garryowen and would have hated the indavertent association with a rugby football club.

No, but Garryowen was a long time reference to Limerick

Sean south from Henry st do have the same ring to it

59 no? New Year’s Eve 1957?

He died New Year’s Day 1957? I got the text from above last week and it said 60 years.
