Warren Gatland Appreciation Thread

It’s very hard to coach in Super Rugby.

They don’t have the players. I don’t think anyone else could do any better. They are just completely underpowered up front. LRZ knew.

They need to amalgamate with Northern Ireland

Henderson in the second row and a young buck called Jackson at 10 could pull them out of this.

Jackson will get it done whether they like it or not

How’s he getting on?

Any sign of Vorderman?

Not great, but he has little to work with.

Very magnanimous interview with Gatty over the weekend. Happy to step away if someone else feels they can turn the ship around better than himself. Reminds me of Conor Mortimer coming off the field one day for Mayo, and some lad in the crowd telling him to fuck off and Mayo would never win an All Ireland with him on the team, to which Conor replied, they fucking wont win one without me either.

They were both right.

Sorry, I meant LRZ

Hanging in at best I think but I wouldn’t have a clue really

A record stretching 12th consecutive defeat for Wales. No win in calendar year 2024, first time since 1937 they have failed to record a win I. The same calendar year. Gatty continues to plummet the depths.

I’d say he has to go but they can’t afford to pay him off.

Surely the right thing to do would be for “Gatty” to tear up his contract and let them off the hook

A Corkman and a West Brit Scallion getting very excited about the failure of a Kiwi managing a crowd of Leeks who wish they were English. TFK at its finest.

And a Wexford man who organized a babysitter, headed to Dublin for the night for an expensive meal with his wife and had a skip of pints after, posting about it instead of engaging with his mrs:smile::smile:

Now that’s TFK at its finest.

Men against boys that was.
Gatty is as good or as bad as anyone else. Wales are in dire straits. They would get beaten by Connacht.

Twice the cost of anyone else

If he was a man of integrity or decency he’d walk away and leave the money after him.
