Was Michael Corleone right to have Fredo killed?
the Godfather movies are a load of shit

although the Modern Family take on it was brilliant
Ya, you already posted that under 1 of your other names, you’re 2 ends of a fucking eejit

He’s a nerd who lives his life through the internet, you learn to cut him a bit of slack after a while…

No no no for me. You just don’t have a blood relative killed, especially a sibling. Don Vito would be spinning in his grave when he saw the chosen one give Al the nod at the funeral.

Fredo was guilty of stupidity but nothing else, maybe a little vanity also thinking he could do a deal for the family with his limited intellect. His biggest crime was denying he knew Mr Rothstein and the future Junior Soprano when Michael asked about them. He knew what he was doing was wrong but not for a second did he believe that there would be a hit on Michael and certainly not in his home.

Michael could have been a little more sympathetic imo, his business associates already feared him beyond question and sparing his brother would not have changed that one iota. Of course he would have to be banished and could not carry on being part of the family but I believe it was the start of the decline of the Genco Olive Oil business when he ordered his own brother killed.

It had to be done. You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

Fredo was shot you dipstick.

Actually, who shot him?

I dislike the GGA and you may or not be aware of this but I have mentioned this more than once on this forum
