Watches

Picked this up today as a little Christmas present for myself. I love it.

Perfect watch for someone who just wants to know the time and isnt interested in the asthetics of it. Ideal gift to bring an elderly relative in hospital :+1:

You can’t beat a good calf skin strap

Mine is in bits at the moment. Needs a new one. They get awful ragged looking over time.

Is that what passes for fashion in the colonies?

I haven’t owned a watch since I was in secondary school.

I think I’d like a watch.

Your dressed up watch looks like something a roaster would wear to a wedding with a big aul pair of manky brown shoes

This is my current watch

This is what I’m going to treat myself to later on this year or early next year.

Imagine turning up to do a business deal with that on your arm. The only way you’d get a signature is out of pity

This watch reminds me of black shirts. I could never understand why anyone would ever wear a black shirt - even worse with a suit.

I didn’t buy it and was given it as a gift by an American friend of mine when I was a groomsman at his wedding.

I thought it was rather garish when I first saw it but it actually looks much better on

I like there old black shirt or dark navy shirt with a black or grey suit with acting tie. It’s a hard look to pull off though. You need a great tan, which I have.

What are they?

A pair of handcuffs?

They’re watches. Fairly simple to see. Do you wear matching jeggings to go with your fitbit?
