This has Ger Cunningham in Dublin written all over it. Waterford don’t have 2 better corner backs than Noel Connors.
From 2017 they are now down Coughlan, Connors and De Burca. Fives x 2 are pretty much injured permanently.
Waterford are in the more difficult side of the league next year and are likely to ship a few hidings. I can see Cahill walking away pretty quick if things aren’t going right. His reputation will still be intact and he can always fall back on the “These lads are beyond help” excuse.
