Waterford Hurling (now incorporating intermediate football) 2013 and subsequent years

O Keefe is a joke of a shot stopper

Gleeson standing there after ball broke over his head

Score?

MS can’t close the gap at all. Badly need a goal from somewhere.

Some goal

Some goal

2-10 to 0-8 BG. To be honest I think Austin’s hanging around the edges is a terrible attitude to display, despite that fine point

Ballygunner play such a lovely, cerebral brand of hurling and specialise in special goals.

Na Piarsaigh and Ballygunner would be rip roaring

Gleeson just allowed a lad stroll past him there, apart from the last point and chasing Dessie down he’s been disinterested, continually going for Hollywood scores from sidelines, the Whelan lad has put in some shift for MS.

Aussie has the look of a fellow who enjoyed his split season summer and made the most of the 10 week holiday between Waterford wrapping up their championship campaign on 22 May and the start of the county championship on the August bank holiday weekend.

Whatever about his weight, his attitude is terrible, letting the rest of the forwards run around like blue arse flies and getting involved in all the ‘rucks’ while he hangs around the edges. Not officer class

No one gave them a chance

Moving all over the field doesn’t help him at all. They’d be better off having him dominate one position I think.

….

Ballysaggart are 15/2 against Roscrea tomorrow.

Why are they such long odds? Do they really have no chance? I know they lost the final, and it’s been a long time since they played, but that might actually work in their favour a little? A little bit of time to regroup & regain a bit of interest after the disappointment of losing.

Usually when a losing team goes out into Munster, it’s a week or two after losing and they have no more interest in it.

Roscrea are unreal apparently.

I wouldn’t back them at 100/1, zero chance. Kieran Bennett gone too.
