Who played well for the village Bugsy?
Ya that will be an issue if itâs going to be an outsider. Sean Power is surely an obvious choice no?
Decent team performance more than anything to be fair. Hopping off the ground from the off and played a running game that we really wouldnât have employed before. Tallow didnât have an answer to this and the game was over as a contest well before half time even (2-13 to 0-04).
2nd half was a bit of a non event so difficult to judge where Abbeyside are.
But fuck it weâre in a semi final and weâll take our chances against whatever the draw throws up tomorrow.
Individually Conor Prunty kept the shackles on Tommy Ryan limiting him to 1 point from play.
Mark Fernecombe got 13 points, 4 or 5 from play, with one outrageous effort included.
Delighted with some of the young lads also Sean Whelan Barret, Niall Montgomery and Tom Looby to name 3.
James Murray was sprung from bench after 20 minutes which gives an indication where Tallow were at.
Hard to gauge against Tallow I suppose. Delighted to hear young Sean Whelan Barrett going well. Is Queally with ye this year?
Yeah, came in at the end of last year in a sort of advisory role. Got the gig full time this year, hurling and football. QF in the football in a fortnight so going to need to get the balance right.
Is Furry playing both ?
Yip, pretty much the same panel for both.
Patsy Fannin will be the new manager, announced in the next few days
Certainly wouldnât disagree with that. Chatting at half time about this actually. Turn the pitch and there is a moutain of room on the 4 sides for decent stands and terracing. Location wise itâs located centrally in the county. But in reality itâs not going to happen so no point exercising too much grey matter thinking about it.
De La Salle 5-17 Mount Sion 1-16 FT
Some hiding. Is that knockout?
Yep. Austin Gleeson did all he could with 1-11 to no avail
Are Sion gone at the game?
Weâre doing well to stay senior
Christ
Thatâs the way itâs gone
Pity for Aussie
Heâs getting a good break anyway.
