It was mentioned on all over the radio today that O’Herlihy only ended up presenting sport after being on the wrong end of a tribunal judgement after a report he did on money lending for the current affairs programme Seven Days, and because he had 15 months left on his contract.
I’d like to see RTE do something similar with George Lee now. He has been a pointless presence since returning to RTE.
