Wexford GAA 2010

i hear stephen Nolan is joining ballyboden and throwing his lot in with Dublin…can the
wexicans confirm (apologies if someone has already mentioned it a few pages back)…
big step up for the lad if its true…playing for the dubs will be a tough challenge too… B)

At least he is doing it right. Cant stand the I’ll change clubs but not counties bullshit.

In fairness it makes sense too as he will be nearer his target market. If Dublin got on a bit of a run he could market the karma lifestyles thing to the hilt.

PJ thinks he might have a hairline crack on his shin bone. he thought it was shin splints but seems like it could be worse.

You’re a ballyboden man-surely you’d know better scummer?

That’s a pity about Banville - doesn’t sound like the type of injury that you’d get over too quickly.

scumpot, I think I mentioned the Stephen Nolan thing last year somewhere - he sent a letter to the Faythe Harriers Chairman to inform them that he would be leaving the club due to his business commitments in Dublin and that it was his intention to join Ballyboden. He also thanked them for their support and guidance over the years - a beautiful letter indeed.

Bad news about pj, will have him out for another couple of weeks. i heard molloy is finally back in training so there should be some serious competition for places at the back now.

Is this the footballers first ever league match on a Saturday evening under lights?

yeah.

Hardly a surprise, he’s prob been with every woman that ever walked into The Stores at this stage.

Sure he must be able to talk any Club into taking him or realising that it just wasn’t ‘working out’ after all his experience with the young 'wans.

Darren Stamp, Willie Doran and PJ Nolan are all out for the Clare game so I don’t envisage us getting a result down there. The first two have physicality and Nolan’s big and skillful and they’re the type of players you need against Clare - plenty of talk about their young players coming through but they’re still backboned by the same mullockers who’ve brushed us aside in recent years.

Footballers at evens to beat Cavan is a fantastic price.

Could see Clare running all over us. No harm once we get to the league final and we can beat them then. PJ has been flying this year by all accounts. Seems to have bulked up a bit and isn’t getting pushed around as much anymore. Is his Da still as much of a looper?

Clare will hammer Wexford out the gate on Sunday.

No offence, but the annual annihilation by Kilkenny seems to have destroyed whatever remnants of self-respect Wexford hurling had.

Hmmm, funny to see a lad talking about self respect when his own shower ran their manager out the door.

Time for some leadership to emerge on the hurling team.

Half forward line on the football team’s again a bit of a concern.

So lets give a lad his intercounty debut against the best team in the league - hugely logical.

Collie Fookin Byrne

Can’t make this game now, if you have one them fancy phones could you post up some mid-game reports Bandage?

A bit worried about that forward line alright, hopefully Cavan are shite
