Night is darkest just before dawn
Why so serious Mac!?
Yeah Ross have a lot of work to do alright but they could come good with this group in a few years
Fuck sake. Time to disband the GAA in Wexford.
I’m glad someone got it
Seems like the twitter person has stopped giving updates seeing we’re getting hammered.
Full Time: Dublin 3-19 Wexford 0-15.
Westmeath have beaten Armagh by 0-17 to 0-16 and Derry look like beating Louth so matches elsewhere are going in our favour. A win at home to Laois at home in 2 weeks would guarantee our Division 2 status irrespective of other results now that Armagh have lost today.
Turns out the Wexford twitter page reached its daily tweet limit.
Laois just beat Longford, so they are safe now. Beat them next day and we stay up. If we lose or draw and Louth or Armagh lose we are also ok (edit unless Armagh draw). Thank fook it is in our own hands now.
Westmeath 11
Derry 9
Galway 7
Laois 7
Louth 5
Wexford 5
Armagh 4
Longford 0
what are the last round of fixtures? cant access the gaa or hoganstand site for some reason.
You didn’t think of checking the pickem? 2 weeks away.
ah, good thinking batman. I’m not in the pickem this year, said I’d give others a chance to win for a change…

Expect Louth to win that one, so need Galway, chasing promotion, to do us a favour if needed. At home to Laois, who are safe, we should get a win. I’d fancy Armagh to win that one against Galway though, bu as Padjo says, at least its in our own hands to stay up. Vital that we do stay up though.
Is Molloy your first choice full-back? Got destroyed by a half-fit Meehan. Full-forward line won absolutely nothing in the second half.
Anyone come out of the hurling with credit or was it a collective malaise, Gman?
he is Turenne, and usually is solid enough. Has consistently kept Brogan quiet when playing Dublin, but has been prone to the odd game where he has been caught out. Full forward line, in particular Roche can blow hot and cold on what ball they win.
not really. Breen could do nothing with the goals. Eanna Martin wasnt too bad, Kehoe was ok winning ball, but his distribution is still shocking, just launches aimless high long balls to no one in particular. Redmond was busy enough midfield, but wasnt great either. Quigley was the better of the half forward line, but wasted a good few balls too. Jacob was the only bright spot in the first half, but was missing completely then in the second. Other than that, there really was no one who was anyway positive unfortunately. Really disappointed in a few players who you would expect more from, and who had decent opportunity to make an impression.
Did tiredness come into it with the footballers at all?
They’ve been out for the last five weeks straight and had to cope for most of the second half six days ago with 14 men.

Let’s see what count of monte cristo says - I’m sure his match report will be filed by 9pm. You’d think 6 days would be enough recovery time in fairness and Galway have played 5 weeks in a row too. I’ve constantly been going on about us lacking some squad depth so maybe we ran out of steam and we didn’t have the bench to handle it. Was Michael Furlong injured? He played very well on Monday but wasn’t included in the squad named on the wexfordgaa.ie.
I’m glad the 2011 championship team turned up to play Dublin today. No point giving the dubs a sight of where we are ahead of the summer. More tactical astuteness from Liam Dunne. We’ll have learned more than them today.
