99 team was a Peter’s College team.
The minor footballers were beaten 0-17 to 0-9 by Dublin earlier.
incorrect - 1995 final Maghera 2-11, GCC 1-6 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogan_Cup
Dublin were just a better side all round. We started poorly, went about 5 or 6 points down, but finished the first half well to go in 8-6 down. They started second half well, but we hit a few points to leave it 13-9, but they just finished out much stronger. Quality of passing into their full forward O Callaghan was excellent, he finished with 4 from play.
Footballers have achallenge Game against Waterford tonight in New Ross, if anyone has nothing better to do.
Another round of senior hurling fixtures this weekend and the most attractive match is probably Ferns versus Faythe Harriers in Bellefield on Saturday night.

Regarding county teams, I really fear we’ll have a recurrence of 2009 (was it?) where we were out of both hurling and football championships by the first week of July.

'Twas.
St Martin’s should have a decent win the weekend
Challenge, Waterford, New Ross.
Big crowd expected then.
Looks like Ferns are the team most likely to stop Oulart this year in the SHC. Big win for them tonight against last year’s finalists Faythe Harriers. Ferns lost after extra time to Oulart in the quarter finals last year so it’s not that surprising.
In other news, it’s bizarre how slow the Wexford GAA site is with getting results on line. I had to lower myself to searching the twitter feed for results which doesn’t even have all of the games covered.
The other thing that amuses me about the Wexford GAA site currently is how it’s celebrating the achievements of the county minor football team this year. The achievement being to get knocked out well before the leaving cert.
Thanks for listening lads.
Appendage how did St Martins get on?
They don’t play Rathnure until tomorrow at 6.30pm. It’s on in New Ross if you’re passing through. Local media suggests that Rathnure will be without John O’Connor, Jack Guiney, Paul Codd, Nigel Higgins and Trevor Hogan so I’d be saying that St Martin’s should be good enough for the win. Not sure about the status of Diarmuid Lyng although he didn’t play in their opening win last weekend.
The mountain men bate the shite out of the townie wannabes by 9 odd points

Quite a drubbing for the Harriers alright. 4-17 to 2-11. Just looking at the programme earlier and Ferns have some very good forwards - are they good enough at the back though pal?
Is Tommy Dwyer still hurling for Ferns?
Yeah, he’s playing midfield.
Big result for Rathnure. Wexford GAA twitter and website still haven’t results for 2 of the 3 senior games yet. Anyone know the score in Oulart game?
Don’t have scores but I know Oulart won by 5 and the Shels hammered the Rapps.
That’d be 4 senior games today then. Big turnaround for the Shels this week. Not sure what the make of the Rapparees. They should be so much better surely.
Why won’t you reply to my Whatsapp questions?
