Wexford GAA 2015

I wish someone would send him on a fuckin media training course. Heā€™ll bring a load of unnecessary attention onto himself and the team now. He has an awful habit of shooting off his mouth at the wrong time.

Perfectly timed as always. Wexford are box office again.

Of course, Liam was a very gentile and inoffensive pundit there for a few yearsā€¦

Liam Dunne.

Well now there goes Liam again ffs. He better have this team flying for championship. Heā€™s well able to talk but is he his own man or is Griffin pulling the strings? What is Griffin role with the senior hurlers?

I believe he is the Forwards coach, im not wholly sure.

An interesting article from a former Wexford footballer with a brain http://www.irishpost.co.uk/sport/deely-enjoying-life-in-london

yeah good article, always rated him as a player, Jason Ryan unfortunately did not.

I canā€™t locate the full Liam Dunne interview on The Examiner site. Can anybody assist? The site lay out is like something from the mid 1990s.

a truly horrible site, with any gods amount of click bait.

I canā€™t find it either pal but what I can say is that there are a plethora of dumb pre-championship interviews with players and managers, and ex managers.

Teams have moved on from defeats and if you werenā€™t up for a munster championship match thereā€™d have to be something wrong with you.

Anyone waiting in the long grass?

Hereā€™s a link to that Liam Dunne interview in full:

Faythe Harriers defeated Buffers Alley in the senior hurling championship earlier. Go on the Harriers.

Faythe Harriers 4-17 Buffers Alley 1-18
Shelmaliers 2-14 Ferns 0-15.

2 wins from the 3 for the Harriers with Oulart still to play the Shamrocks in that group. The latter look like going straight back down to Intermediate and Ferns now only have 1 point from 3 games so theyā€™re in a perilous position now.

Westmeath in Mullingar going to be a tough one and if we are not fully tuned in we could be turned over. Has anyone any info on how things are going? Injuriesā€¦ What the team might be etc?

Westmeath in Senior Hurling, Senior Football and Minor Hurling. Can barely recall playing them in anything before in championship apart from a Leinster Football game around 2005

I can recall Wexford playing Westmeath in a Leinster Senior Hurling Quarter final double header at Dr Cullen Park in 1995. Kilkenny faced Laois on the same bill and were very lucky to escape with a two points win.

And minor football too you partitionist cunt.

We hammered them in the football championship in 2011 on a balmy Saturday evening in Wexford Park. A curtain raiser to Colm Bonnarā€™s charges taking on Kilkenny in the hurling championship.

I have to give you a few scraps to feed off

Thatā€™s correct. The footballers scored more than the hurlers that evening as far as I remember. Iā€™d forgotten that game. Must have been because I was sat beside @Gman for most of the day.
