Don’t think so, pal. It’s Mikey Hanrahan’s Londis up in The Faythe. I’m delighted for the Sarsfields defender, his staff and the winner.

Certainly the shop in the faythe wasn’t always owned by Mikey’s family.

@Gman - is batin’ tyres part of the coaching curriculum in Wexford still? I saw a bunch of 8 year olds hammering 'em on Friday night.

sure what else would you use a hurl for other than batin tyres?

Surprised at it, the courses the coaching staff in the park are running for the very young and to help the coaches for the young are very good and wouldnt really have batin tyres a high priority.

8 days away from the double header in Croke Park and you’d swear it was November there’s so little enthusiasm. I’ll be heading along anyway but fully expect to come home having witnessed 2 bad losses.

Anything positive in either camp to give us some false hope?

i think the footballers could do well.

The hurlers however i am not so sire, seem to be all at sea really.

Will this be the first day out in croker for Big Dave’s Wexford side? I cant make it due to other commitments which has me sickened any idea if both are on tv? Football is hardly on…
