Who’s managing the minor team this year?

Same as last year, Eamonn Scallan

Will there be changes to the team announced? I’d be fairly tempted to throw guiney in instead of jack o connor.

Davy doesn’t do fake teams. He’s not Liam Dunne.

7 posts since this morning. Are you all hiding under the bed?

It’s the league pal and keeping a bit of perspective in the overall scheme of things. A few comments made on the league semi final thread.

Been meaning to ask this for a few games but what’s the point of joint captains?

How old is Jack O’Connor?

He was under 21 in 2015 but can’t recall if he still was last year. Somewhere around the 22 mark, I’m guessing.

In one of the most unsurprising results this year, the minor footballers were hammered at home 3-16 to 0-8 by offaly. If the betting of underage games hadn’t been recently banned, this would have been a Max bet unfortunately. To be beaten by that much is really poor form. Especially if it’s not exactly a power house team. That’s 2 minor and under 21 defeats to offaly in the last 3 outings.

As an aside, some fantastic promotion of the game by the county board and the social media team.

How much did DF set back the WCB for his new set of teeth?

Why was it unsurprising, pal?

not to get into too much detail, but they had far from an ideal lead up to the game between one thing or another. the usual stuff that goes on with Wexford underage.

Hard luck Sunday but i can see what Davy is doing and think that ye have a great team just brush up on the small things. ye are strong and fast

Watched it back last night. The substitutions that Tipp made killed us when Michael Breen and Bubbles came on they started finding more space and from then on our corner backs didn’t seem up to the task at hand, granted they had to try and mark the McGrath brothers which is a nigh on impossible task one on one.

It was a weird feeling coming away from Nowlan Park, an 11-point defeat that felt like a five point defeat. Overall very happy at how we continued to fight throughout the game and to stay in touch. I would have like to see Fanning brought up for the frees into the wind in the first half, there was a rotten wind that seemed to drop in the second half when it was threatening to rain.

Our options from the bench will, hopefully, improve, when Shore, Doran and McGovern retain fitness - what is the story with Doran lads?

There’s no team in the country that I’d fear facing aside from Tipp right now.
