David Shannon was on the team that won the Senior B All-Ireland in 1991 when he was in first year.
No, i think he was in 5th when Fermoy hammered them in 97 hurling. 6th year, quite possibly on the team or panel, not sure. And then repeated and on the 99 team.

Pretty sure I played with him in a few practice games in 96 or 97, those wonderful early season games before before getting cut.

Why was he dropped? Lack of success?
I did hear something happened for him to be dropped by Trinity but didnât hear why.

Was talking to one of backroom staff, said that the more strenuous stuff happened before they opened the gates. But yeah, he looked in good shape during the time we were all there.

Noticed none of the u20s were there so wouldnât be surprised if they let them focus on their championship.
About 900 or so. Great success, kids loved it.
