you keep posting this mate- always related to companies

care to explain how me planting trees every month is a bookkeeping trick?

In the generally class based world of Green one upmanship the carbon offsets are the biggest joke of all

You’re like a king in the 1600s buying indulgences from the Catholic Church while you pillage and plunder.

Enjoy your flight to Australia while the world burns.

Multinationals are neck deep in greenwashing. Dont get fooled its all to boost ESG ratings. The Ukraine flags have been replaced with rainbow flags today

Its a pure joke. The majority of trendy trees ate planted on peatlands that would be more efficient ‘carbon sinks’ if left alone. But theres fuck all carbon in the atmosphere anyway so a little more is probably a good thing- not that we make much of a contribution one way or the other

Theres an arguement that the carbon in the atmosphere has increased the levels of plantlife on earth. Making it greener.

True. More of a fact than an argument, but there you go

Eamon Ryan, the green party and government energy policy took one hell of a beating on the David McWilliams from an energy engineer this morning. She claimed that all of the policys and predictions are based on nonsense, no stakeholder engagement, no knowledge of what has to be done and goverment policy os soley based on announcements that are politically advantageous with no practically. Amazing stuff

The wind energy guru said the opposite.

It was clearly outlined that your party doesnt know what is required to meet your targets nor put the investment in place for the grid to add more wind. The grid will not be able to meet these targets without serious investment or a technical long term plan not announcements on the fly.

I see record temperatures being recorded all over europe at the moment.

Where were the hippies to warn us about this? Too busy trying to save the whales and build bicycle lanes to notice the climate emergency unfolding around the world.
