I’m going to be feeding silage in the next few days if it doesn’t rain at the weekend. The ground is absolutely rock hard as well. It’s getting cold in the evenings too which make grass growth even slower.

It’s horrible. I don’t mind late twenties during the day, or even hotter up to about 33, but you need Aircon to sleep. Thing is in countries set up for it it’s not bad, as you are either in the water, about to get into the water, just got out of the water, or near somewhere with Aircon.
Without these things (eg the mainland) it’s really not nice. London must be unbearable.
