We’ve always had a few foxes around the park at night but this new breed are a bit more willing to get close or just stop a few yards away as you pass.
Anyway ive been leaving food out across the street from the house all summer and Freddie calls to dine every night between 10.45pm and 10.55pm.
Tonight he got some fish and potato.
Harry the hedgehog gave up calling to the door about a month ago. He just ate the cat’s food.
A few chicken nuggets and sausages left over from the kids party today. He was 10 minutes early tonight and i caught him finishing up as i walked back with Brady.
I’d say he’s a laughing stock in the fox world, his mates are off digging tunnels under a chicken farm in Moneygourney and Freddie is getting fat on Maccies
Been coming with his mother lately… it was usually her … she’s outside now in the treeline. Hopefully she doesn’t set off any undetonated mines that i had planted for the feral teens last summer .
She comes to the door the odd night and runs off with the cat bowl… i find it on the green next morning
After the abuse on here i gave him nothing. I also cut down the bird feeder as it’s doing them no good. I smashed the water bowl for the birds into pieces also.
I’ve two robins.
They literally wait outside the greenhouse for me to feed them every day.
I’m trying to taper their feed off at the moment, but they look a bit ragged.
Must be moulting or something. So they look a bit hungry. So I keep feeding.
They say if you feed in the winter then you should continue feeding in the summer.
But it’s hard to find the food.
There’s nothing in Petmania these days for instance, but come winter the shelves will be stacked full again.
