Quality Street has the best ratio of toffee sweets to chocolate sweets of all those boxes. Nothing more satisfying than chewing away on a good stiff toffee sweet

Roses used to be better but they have to gone to absolute fuck as the years have progressed. I appreciate a box of Quality Street these days.

The chocolate is fucking rotten.
Celebrations have a few top, top sweets. The teaser, galaxy and galaxy caramel are all wonderful.
You can use the Bountys left to feed the birds in February

Did Roses get rid of the strawberry ones? I’m probably a weirdo as traditionally my favourite chocolate in any Christmas box was the strawberry one. Or the Turkish.

The swirly rose with the hazelnut in it is lovely.
I think the strawberry one is still there (I loved them as well) but the ratio of chocolate to goo has changed and its just not the same as it was. Were the strawberry ones in light blue tinfoil back in the day? 
Used to love the little Dairy Milks and Bournevilles you used to get in a box of Roses as well.
If you don’t get to the box quickly they are all gone. They are as well just launch a teaser only box.
Ah here ferrero is unreal but we can disagree there. I hate seeing people buy Quality street I always think to myself is there no other options. The chocolate orange and green triangle are the only sweets I look for

I am trying to remember the roses box in the 80s. Those seem to be gone pure shit now. No more tin boxes. I am guessing the ingredients are muck now compared to before? Palm oil etc.
They went very very sweet. I used to love a caramel barrel.
