What street in Limerick captures the spirit and essence of the city for you?What street in Limerick do you find the most enjoyable to stroll around?For me it’s between O’Connell Street, Roches Street, Cruises Street, the Bedford Row/Thomas Street area and William Street.I am going to have to go for William Street.If you want to get a feel for the character and atmosphere of the city then William Street is the place.I think Upper William Street in particular has a very authentic atmosphere.I should also give Parnell Street a mention.Parnell Street is what it is.I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Was in dubalin a few weeks ago and took the train. Came got down at about seven and arranged to meet a couple of lads in town. Walked through Davis street and a greater shithole you could hardly imagine. Every fucking junkie and soak in limerick was on show. Good streets are few and far between in Limerick which is a shame but I will say the best one is not a street in the sense of one at all but the Ennis Rd which passes by our fabulous arena.

Well Batt i have a great affection for Limerick City.It would be my favourite irish city after Cork along with Waterford.I don’t really like Dublin and as for Galway meh.I like all of the main shopping streets in Limerick and the Georgian area down around Perry Square and the Crescent.Limerick is just a city i really enjoy strolling around.I would agree though that the Parnell Street and Davis Street areas are a bit rough in the late evening.Parnell Street is just off Thomas and Roches Street yet it has a completly different vibe to those streets in the late evening.
Ennis is the roughest urban settlement in the midwest KC!
