The hardware changes are still pretty much non-existent. If you can get an S9 or S10 for cheap do it. Do not buy the newest of the new. It’s full on robbery. S8 came out in 2017. They’ve done nothing in 4 years to move on phone hardware because they hit a wall innovation-wise.
Same with Apple. Shockingly!

Which is better? The iPhone XR or the XS. I looked it up and they are saying the XR. Both are at the same price.
I have the XS. Decent phone. No issues.
XR has a lower res screen.

How much GB space do you need? 10GB or 30GB?. Good advice on the screen 
I think 64GB is the base model which I have.
Whatsapp is the main drain on storage 
It’s 64GB on the phone but it’s 10GB a month with the package. The back is grey, I can live with that.

Anyone recommend a cheapish (2-300) unlocked android, preferably galaxy, just reliable, maybe water and hardship proof etc doesn’t have to do much more
