I got a huwaie p20 lite a few years ago. Had samsungs before that. Couldn’t tell the difference tbh. Brilliant battery, huge storage. Available sim free for 200 stg on amazon when I bought it
Just be careful with the huawei, older models OK but newer ones may not be compatible with google

Anyone here with Virgin mobile are they decent for coverage? Doing an offer until Monday unlimited data, unlimited calls( any network?) unlimited texts. Five quid for first 6 months then 25 thereafter.
I had perfect coverage in Dublin but spotty data coverage in West Limerick on Virgin via the 3 network.

You won’t get a better phone than the Huawei P30 Pro new edition. Only problem is you probably won’t get it at all. Huawei added a few gigs and updated the chip on the old P30 Pro and get it launched before the Google ban. It sold out very quickly after being launched, I think you can get it onTesco mobile or something still. Its fully compatible with all Google services and is by far the best phone I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few, mostly Huawei for the last 6 years.
I replaced my samsung galaxy with the oppo x3 lite. Best phone i ever had. I would rate it higher than the samsung.
Had several mi phones no problem bar updates tbh( xiaomi)

I think if you don’t sign up to the huawei account first day as part of the set up it limits what goes onto it. I’d no issues anyway
