Adoptions and foster care. Any study done on the subject shows that the earlier a child is removed from a family the better the outcomes for them. Its a pointless exercise taking kids in to care after 10/11. This is generally what happens here due to the reluctance of the state to remove kids from chaotic homes until its to late and the damage in most cases has already been done. Most of these kids come out of care with no education, no life skills, and a good chance of ending up homeless, in prison and addicted to drink and drugs.

The one thing I’ll say though and I’ll veer away on a tangent here… is the true impact of smart phones on the current set of teens and their mental health is a real unknown. There are multiple strands to this from the likes of access to hard core porn to the lack of sleep from being online for extended periods. It’s a bit of a worry in my own opinion

Listen to/read Warren Farnell on the subject of how boys are being raised. The importance of the family unit is dismissed, single parent families are common place and fathers are sidelined by family courts and social services.
Lack of achievement, lack of respect, ubiquitous porn and violence.

That just turned my stomach … it’s heart breaking to think that’s happening all around the world right now… and the kids grow up to repeat it with their kids…
What about the justice system in a country that would let these evil animals out after such a short space of time, only to do something similar again?
They should not be allowed to continue with their lives in my view.
