Denim Mick won 10 on a Euromillions ticket over the weekend, we were walking around Dublin newsagents at 3am trying to get it cashed in only to find all the machines were closed!! I never knew these machines closed at a certain time, anybody shed any light on this? Has it got to do with gambling laws or some jazz like that?
from what i remember from working in a shop was that you couldnt claim a prize till the following morning didnt think they closed down over night though although we used to log our machine off when closing nightly so whether the shops just do that or have to by law i dont know
Intresting enough, the Euromillions is on a Friday night isn’t it? So he should have been able to cash in on Sunday morning. Maybe the shopkeeps were just being lazy baxtards.
