Now that I’m back in the ratrace I’ve found my current M&S manbag to be wholly unsatisfactory for my quite lengthy commute. It’s something like this. Falls all over the place when I’m fishing for something on the DART and the suits who sit in front of me might start getting ideas if I’m down there trying to fix the infernal mess too long.
Anyone recommend one? They’re a vital piece of kit, don’t deny it.
Has to be capable of storing (with easy accessibility) a jacket, soon a cardigan, headphones, bottles of water (one with water in it, the other with 7up mixed with vodka), books, pieces of fruit (cleanly), vials of assorted pills, a book, perhaps a newspaper, a lunchbox, a notepad, a dictaphone, a pen, and random bits of paper and other assorted items which I may have to transport on a day to day basis.
I carry a laptop bag around when the need requires, it has great storage and makes people think I’m the kind of fella who needs to carry a laptop around.
