Whats the best way to dig gravel*

*with a minimum amount of it simply sliding back into the place you just dug?

With a shovel.

And a polish lad holding it

Racist

Apparently its not racism. NCC knows all about it apparently, him being Italian and all that.

Lads, I just need to know the most efficient way of doing it?

Its for planting a tree.

You plant a plant, you tree a tree.

Put the base of tree on the place where you want to plant it.

Mark around the tree, with the shovel or chalk or something.

Measure how far down the tree needs to go into the ground for it to be steady and the roots totally secure under the groud. Get a stick this length.

Dig your hole and keep going untill the stick is level with top of ground.

Put in tree.

Cover back in.

Then fuck off back to Tipperary and away from a computer.

Ya but if it is just gravel - Can the roots of the tree survive in it?

Well i presume the gravel only goes down so far, as in a couple of inches?

If so there is no problem i would think.

There is gravel down as far as I am going to dig but you know how when you pull the tree out its bucket and it has some soil with it? its not just a tree and some roots going into gravel is what im saying…will it be able to grow then?
