This country has suffered terribly since the turn of the millennium… Injustice after injustice has been perpetrated on the Irish people. Forget war, famine and human rights abuses. We know what real problems are, what real injustice and oppression is.
It goes without saying that all choices in this poll created righteous and justified anger that rocked the foundations of the nation.
But what’s the biggest injustice we as a people have been subjected to?
Your own silly prejudices have ruined the poll.
The sacking of Giovanni Trapattoni

That’s so last millennium, mate.
That katy ffrench was taken away from us so young and tragically. Shell always be queen of our hearts.

Damn, I can’t believe I forgot the eviction of that couple from their Killiney mansion.
The limerick minor hurling team being denied an all Ireland final appearance by the aberration that is Hawkeye.
Just edit the poll Sidney.

The Keady Affair is a case study in the value of whistleblowers (both on and off the pitch).
John Denton and the delegates of the Tipperary club in New York were the Maurice McCabes and John Wilsons of their day.
The continual hounding and blaming of Bertie Aherne for all the country’s woes.

Padraig Harrington being omitted from the 2012 Ryder Cup still rankles to this day.
The injustice was done to Tipperary pal. The *89 AI title will forever have an asterisk beside it.
On a more serious note I’d go with either of the following:
The Birmingham Six
The Guildford Four
Kevin Foley been dumped out of the Irish squad for Euro 2012 at the last minute for Paul McShane.
Ah right. I didn’t realise that you were completely mistaken.
It doesn’t. *
