I always felt that the GAA themselves were the real fuck-up that day. Cooney made a mistake, but realised it very quickly. The game could easily have been restarted only for the hired goons hooshing him off the pitch.

only the people allowed in the dressing room can be outraged about a game, some lads take sport and accidents of birth far too seriously, as for the lads who get excited about a soccer team they decided to follow when they were little boys :joy:
