Which gets a higher TV audience in Ireland- The All Ireland Hurling Final or a big England Football game

Anyone? @padjo?

790k vs 609K

This will drive the lads crazy. Dont do it lads. Control yourselves.

The figures are impacted by people watching Sky to avoid listening to Marty

i believe most big England games are on a few free to air stations

@Tim_Riggins - can you fact check my figures

I watched Sky yesterday. Couldn’t be dealing with Marty. Most others I know did likewise.

Post them up there so we can have a look

You missed out, Marty was in top top form.

Soccer fans are also disproportionately likely to only have access to regular TV. The sophisticated tech savvy middle class WFH GAA man has an IPTV service.

200k is quite a difference

Whats this about?

Limerick ain’t box office. Sad to say it.

If they keep at it and keep training then one day they might be. They certainly should keep going and their day will come.

The bloated Limerick backroom team account for a large amount of GAA fans who would ordinarily tune into the game if they weren’t participating

Werent the stats team off site yesterday?

Were they really though :eyes:

Another asterisk.

They’ve ruined hurling by turning it into basketball with sticks. Even to the point of picking a team of beanpoles.

They win an All Ireland and before the day is out they are giving advice to real hurling counties to keep at it and don’t give up. You couldn’t make it up.

I suppose they need a new past time now rugby is finished.
