I love Scotland!!
Right decision not to go for the scrum by the Scotch
Echoes of 1991 in the way Australia got out of jail there. But this was even closer.
The rugby World Cup is an enthralling competition.

Thport ith a cruel Mithreth
“Miguel” and “Ewan” bullied the shot out of sone simple chap on Twitter who objected to their criticism of the Irish performance. There seems to be genuine surprise that you could be allowed criticise that abysmal effort.
You were doing the exact same type of objecting last week when Eamon Dunphy ridiculed the Eire performance against Poland, mate.
Did the round of applause on 5 minutes take place?
No, Argentina had just run in their first try so there was stunned silence instead.
you watched it??
I was glued to it mate.
They always bottle it in quarter finals. A collapse was always on the cards. Couldn’t miss it.
Huh?
+1
Ah here.
Oh I’d say that would be standard for most pal. Normal folk would tend to accept defeat as graciously as possible and wish their opponents the best of luck. Particularly Argentina, how could you not want them to win the tournament now. There’d be nothing unusual in that pal, but of course you already knew that. Nothing complex about me pal.
It really was appalling scheduling from the organisers of the World Cup that four of Ireland’s five games were played on the Sabbath effectively ensuring that Ulster fans could not watch or attend. The presence of some Ulster fans with their focus on work ethic over emotion and ‘having the craic’ would have brought some much needed focus to proceedings today. They’ll be pretty peeved when they learn of the result in the morning.
Why? Do they have no contact with the outside world at all during the sabbath?
They don’t drive a car, they don’t use a computer, they don’t use the phone, and they sure as shit DON’T FUCKING ROLL.
SHOMER SHABBOS
Franno is seething
Was the Irish coach not handed a bumper contract before the World Cup?? At least trap-a-pony got Ireland to a major championship, you’d think lessons would be learned.
