They weren’t and you would have favourer them ar h-t considering itelands set backs.

it was a performance from the ages all right and unlike most other irish victories of note in my lifetime across all sports it was no one off fluke
and you slag me about clichés!!! i’ll let you away with it seeing the week that’s in it dude #COYBIG
Go shit in your hat.
serious attitude problems with a few dudes around here. someone had to stay at home yesterday and was unable to go out and get rinsed with the boys??
I’ve been saying for years that O’Connell is useless and holding Ireland back. Seems like Toner and Henderson proved my point emphatically in the second half yesterday.
Can you give me that in English, please?
Plus +1.
With him and O’Driscoll gone I could be tempted into watching how they go the next day…Two of the most horrible cunts to ever call themselves Irish.
Get behind Church and the guys mate, you know you want to.
I’d rather be behind than in front of them anyway pal, as my sphincter wouldn’t be able for those steroid addled fingers that I’d no doubt have forced upon me should I be infront of these soggy biscuit cunts.
There’s such a small pool of rugby football playing nations that they play each other very often - multiple times each year in many cases. Law of averages suggests Ireland as one of the 8 or 9 nations/regions that take it seriously will of course beat the top sides and world champions like New Zealand on occasion and it’s unlikely to be a once off.
The Hen put in a serious shift alright. gets around the field like a number 6.Paulie is our talisman and leader so hard to drop
I think that just proves you know fuck all about rugby. Have a look up the matchthread there. At half time I stated that Ireland would walk this. “Ireland will walk this” was the phrase I used. It was fairly obvious to seasoned observers of the game that France hadn’t shown up.
Fuck sake Kev it was a pool match against France who they haven’t lost to in four years. You’re guilty of the same stupid hyperbole as the rest of the country after they beat Australia last time round.
A performance for the ages - against a team they have regularly beaten in recent times…who are in terrible form and struggled against Italy and the other group minnows…I may also remind forumite that it was a mere group game and I’m not sure of Ireland’s record outside the group phase but i’ve a feeling it’s not great. I’d being saving the faux superlatives until they reach a semi/final and beat one of the big guns. I know Kev has firmly dug in here and is trying his best to ‘subtly’ defend the merits of the game of Rubgy Union football, but the long and the short is - Ireland beat a poor French team in a group game.
Says the fella who doesn’t understand the impact the pack have in the half backs game.
Stop digging Kev. You’re out of your depth already.
Nah. I think argentina will beat them. A highly skilled, under rated, well coached team reaching a peak. Irelands losses are huge. This was a much harder game than the aussie one. Up front was ridiculous.
I also know one of their S&C coaches and he said way way back they wanted ireland in 1/4’s and not france due what they believe are physical advantages they have over ireland.
However that has probably balanced out as ireland are much stronger in front row that previous perception and now our back row is in tatters.
Blaa blaa blaa
That’s me put back in my box anyway.
