Anyone that thinks Pat Hartnett wasn’t a great player knows nothing hurling.Pat was one tough bit of stuff!Pat played in the 1986 all ireland final with a dodgy shoulder.Galways Brendan Lynskey tried to test it out but Pat saw it coming and he was ready for him.

There was a side wall of a pub in Thurles with a mural some of the great Tipp players from over the years painted on it.God that’s a fine mural say’s the Cork man.Ye should do something similar in Cork say’s the Tipp man.Nah say’s the Cork man we wouldn’t be able to find a wall that’s big enough.
