Who Was The Greatest Hurler You Ever Seen?

Who do you reckon?

Whereabouts in Limerick are ya from?

Tony Kelly

Im a Cork man but i would have a soft spot for Limerick and Waterford in the hurling.

Brian Whelehan.

He is no Conor Lehane

I’ve had to look back on the thread title before giving verdict:

  1. Michael Roche (Tipperary).
  2. DJ Carey (Kilkenny).
  3. Joe Cooney (Galway)

Shefflin no question

Donie O’Connell softened his cough a few times.

A Tipp man softening a Cork mans cough doesn’t happen very often.

Happens regularly enough to be fair.

There was a side wall of a pub in Thurles with a mural some of the great Tipp players from over the years painted on it.God that’s a fine mural say’s the Cork man.Ye should do something similar in Cork say’s the Tipp man.Nah say’s the Cork man we wouldn’t be able to find a wall that’s big enough.

One All Ireland winner among that lot. Hon’ the runners up!

Being away, I’ve seen him less that most. Can’t argue with his record though.

+1 it’s simple enough really. A bunch of club hurlers from Tipperary mentioned earlier on there

You shouldn’t even have to ask.

DJ Carey.

Top 5 KK hurlers I’ve seen in the flesh

  1. DJ Carey
  2. Henry Shefflin
  3. Tommy Walsh
  4. JJ Delaney
  5. Pat O’Neill

DJ is the King of Hurling Since 1993.
