I think his mistake was putting too much stock in Kinnerk’s vision — He needs to fuck him off and go back to basics.
Disgusting rumor doing the rounds, if true, by god.
I’ll take a PM of this pretend rumour
i will too
It’s time to clear out the likes of Byrnes and Hegarty and the rest of the 2015 u21 at this stage. What have they ever done at senior? Clear them out and make a fresh start with the 2017 u21 and management and give them at least 6 months to settle in.
Did we win the Senior All Ireland ------------NO
I am not saying it was right but he is playing (well managing) senior hurling now.

1 year in tho ffs… like i said, i think the coaching was the problem last year – all this emphasis being put in movement and position and trying to coach instinct out of lads …
That may be so but he wasn’t given a shot either.
Ah well, onwards we go.
Is there anyone ye could get in to headhunt a new manager?
Ah the timing is the thing…usually this happens in November- January. The powers that be has decided to get the internal rows out of the way early and get a right run at it. This is to be applauded. The next management team will be appointed by the weekend and be removed in March when we fail to be promoted, to give the real manager a good run into 2019.
@Bandage’s hurling reputation, so hard earned in 2017, will soar or perish on the outcome of this one.
I’m a very astute judge of sport (particularly hurling), character, people’s motives and asset and infrastructure DBMO proposals amongst other things. My hard won reputation won’t be lost if Kiely doesn’t resign but I’m confident I was right about him. I’m right about everything.
No
Predicting a Limerick hurling managers career will end in failure is really putting your neck on the line
What has Kiely achieved since he became senior manager?
Not one thing.
