I raised an eyebrow when the salesman first said it to us. He went on to explain a 1 star would be for a puck around merchant and graded them along those lines. The 5 and 6 star hurleys were for serious athletes. He was convincing. The two 6 star hurleys were impeccable.

Yes the bamboo hurleys are 65 each. Hurler of the year uses a Torpy bamboo.
No you aren’t. 30 would get you a very good hurley

The option was there for me to buy a cheaper hurley. We wanted the best and paid for it.

We were shown hurleys through the grades 1 to 6 which were all displayed in their separate sections along the walls. There wasn’t anyone trying to fool us. Your mindset is corrupted.

I don’t know but I’ve bought about 6 hurleys there in the last 2 years and never paid more than 30. You can also check their shop online where their hurleys are 30 euro. You must have a real harmless look to you when you enter these places
