I typically like the tale of how his Da spent time in Detroit in the 50’s and had a massive record collection and Van just married his roots to those sounds all his life. He definitely has soul.

That would be my favorite Van Morrison song post Them. I find the rest of Moondance dull enough and the rest of his back catalogue very samey though I did quite like the record he did with the Chieftains
