I see what you did there
Mid-level rugby player?
He was a full international for one of the âtop 8â teams in the world. Heâs also probably dog useless and the sign of a desperate manager trying anything to win their first All Ireland in over 60 years.
No offence to the lad but he was very much a mid-level rugby player. And shush-Iâm only having an oul hop with my pal dk.
I think it will tell you all you need to know about rogbee when a former full international goes from international caps to sitting on the bench for a county in an amateur game.
Can we take a break from the rugby stuff during GAA season.
Off the Ball will devote hours this week to the Ireland friendly with Argentina at the expense of GAA analysis and punditry before actual competitive games. We need to be mindful of not letting rugby dictate the dialogue on here any more - letâs just ignore it and it might go away.
No but it might tell you all you need to know about the dumbass comparisons some people make between different sports. Using your logic there, it may tell you all you need to know about Gaelic Football when a guy who hasnât played the game in 15 years walks straight back onto the panel of the second best team in the country-I wouldnât agree with that though.
As you are labouring the point, just because somebody gets capped doesnât mean they are not mid-level players-see Leon Best for a comparator in soccer.

Oireland are shit at football though. The West Brit rogbee team are one of the âtop 8â teams in the world. Duffy has been a âprofessional athleteâ for 15 years, last year he was starting at the âhighest levelâ of European âclubâ rogbee and now he most likely finds himself sitting on the bench for a county in an amateur sport. Bringing the lad in just shows how desperate Mayo are and Iâm sure if he sees any action at all this summer it will prove what a donkey he is.

Wait, the GAA season never ends, I see what youâre trying to do :o
Fuck it but the 9 oâclock news last night had a report on Stephen Ferris retiring. Even when the season is over the cunts are all over the media. Iâve no problem with Ferris and Iâm sorry he had to retire but itâs hardly one of the biggest news stories of the day. Most people wouldnât have a clue who he is.
Is he any relation to Martin?
No, this fella votes DUP.
Why is his name spelt with a âphâ, isnât there another one of them called Paddy? I think itâs quite sad that a lot of these rogbee playing Ulster Protestants are taking on Irish names just to appease bigots like @Anto and @dancarter.
Almost as sad as your fascination with a sport you apparently have no interest in
Itâs not that I have no interest in it, itâs just that I hate its standing in this country and I will vehemently oppose and denigrate it at any opportunity. You on the other hand pretend you donât care but get very offended at attacks on rogbee.
Not offended at all mate. Iâve been reading people giving out on here about rugby for longer than youâve been posting here. Iâve better things to be e-debating about. If you hate it so much then just ignore it. I hate the prestige the EPL gets in Ireland but I rarely see the need to harp on about it at every given opportunity.
- fucking 1
He is probably our best player (certainly top three anyway) so I think item on news is fair enough.
Not for the first time you have got very defensive about someone denigrating the game of rugby. You might get a bit more respect here if you werenât so duplicitous and really made your feelings clear than hiding behind a cloak of apathy. It bothers you and saying otherwise is making you look even more rattled. I wonât ignore it, I will continue to run the game, its players and its supporters down.
What English soccer corporation do you follow mate?
Gus Poyetâs Black Cats.
I donât know what the fuck youâre on about but youâre making a show of yourself.
