+1. You could easily see the likes of Jack McCaffrey walking all over the Irish rugby team whereas you would never see, say a mid-level rugby player in his thirties go back playing bogball after a 15 year break and walk onto the panel of one of the best teams in the country.

Using your logic there, it may tell you all you need to know about Gaelic Football when a guy who hasn’t played the game in 15 years walks straight back onto the panel of the second best team in the country-I wouldn’t agree with that though.

Oireland are shit at football though. The West Brit rogbee team are one of the “top 8” teams in the world. Duffy has been a “professional athlete” for 15 years, last year he was starting at the “highest level” of European “club” rogbee and now he most likely finds himself sitting on the bench for a county in an amateur sport. Bringing the lad in just shows how desperate Mayo are and I’m sure if he sees any action at all this summer it will prove what a donkey he is.

Fuck it but the 9 o’clock news last night had a report on Stephen Ferris retiring. Even when the season is over the cunts are all over the media. I’ve no problem with Ferris and I’m sorry he had to retire but it’s hardly one of the biggest news stories of the day. Most people wouldn’t have a clue who he is.

If you hate it so much then just ignore it. I hate the prestige the EPL gets in Ireland but I rarely see the need to harp on about it at every given opportunity.
