This attention seeker still needs attention?
well by putting his retirement on the national news he is certainly getting it
its also a key part of every British Lions tour for the reasons outlined to target the children of responsible Irish people who have no interest in this show of servility and are disgusted by those who align themselves with it.
Wasnāt Sir Paul OāConnell pictured in NZ or South Africa driving a sliothar with the likes of Austin Healey and Will Greenwood looking in so called āawe and amazementā as Paddy tries to get one over his master by showing them some native skill, whilst really they are probably thinking why is this aboriginal gimp showing us how he catches his dinner.
I would be surprised if the first thing they thought of when looking at Paul OāConnell was that he looks aboriginal, mick.
Pretty sure it was the GAA Club in Argentina responsible this time but you point stands in general.
Of course its a bigger problem than rugby, every cunt of note who arrives to Irelandās shores gets a hurley shoved into his hand and is told smile for the camera. The GAAās desire for acceptance from the wider community is shockingly embarrassing.
they held the rugby training at the grounds of the Argentinian hurling club, the rugby lads went there, not the other way around.
Well football anyway, not sure how much hurling heād done. A prodigious kick of a football though.
With his natural athletic ability he would be pretty good at anything.
Where am I getting defensive? Iāve a passing interest in rugby. Iāve attended 4-5 Leinster games this season and Iāve not attended any international game since they moved out of Croke Park as I refuse to pay 90 odd euro for a ticket to the Aviva when Iād be happier watching it in the pub or at home. I was at the Grand Slam game in 2009 and made no secret of it. Iāll watch Rugby now but if it clashes with National Hunt racing or Hurling then Iāll probably watch them instead.
I find the amount of coverage it gets quite odd but its generally because the general public are stupid and have to be told what to like. I accepted this many years ago when iPods and iPhones were launched as an example. Competitors had superior products but because Apples products were fashionable, people bought them - and continue to. Do I feel the need to continually point this out to people? No, I donāt. Iāve accepted that the majority of people want to be led and canāt think for themselves and just get on with my life. A lot of rugby journalists and broadcasters are stealing a living, but if they werenāt doing it based on Rugby, theyād be using another medium.
If I see cases of hypocrisy or contradiction on here related to Rugby or any other sport, then Iāll probably point it out. Mainly because I know itāll get the likes of you wound up and your reaction is usually funny - Iād be a bit odd that way I suppose.
Anyway, I hope that clarifies my position for you.

Itās not the first time you have said you donāt care about rugby but felt the need to intervene when it has been attacked. Maybe you should follow your own preachy advice and ignore it.

Tickets have come down a lot now, bro-still overpriced but you would pick one up now starting at ā¬50 or so.
Ignore what?
50 notes to watch a load of fat lads shove their heads up other mens arseās?? ffsā¦
Iāll restrict my rugby going to standing on the side terrace in the RDS with the season ticket holders. At least thereās a bit of atmosphere there rather than a load of gimps who spend most of the game going in and out of the bars.
My anti-rugby posts.
That would mean Iād lose the opportunity to get you wound up. Why would I do that?

why would you surprised that the thing above wildly swinging a stick could not considered to be aboriginal to those of a sane, condescending mind?
Iām always wound up. It fuels me, @Il Bomber Destro always posts with passion and honesty. @Mac seems to post with duplicitous, bottled-up angst. Telling everyone that you donāt care for rugby but continually feeling the need to come in and intervene when the game is ridiculed shows that your supposed apathy is a facade.
@Mac also for some reason likes to inform the board that he āmakes no secretā of the fact that he attends rugby matchesā¦
20 odd posts from me on a thread 20 pages long - 6 posts from today based on the same interaction with you. I think you might have a fairly warped idea of what continually feeling the need to come in and intervene might mean.
Yep-overpriced as I said.
Continually doesnāt define the regularity or the frequency that it happend, it just means that it repeats itself. Your angst reaches a level that you can no longer sit back and watch rugby take a pounding (excuse the pun) and you feel the need to come in and intervene. You then feign apathy towards rugby and insist you are not bothered about people attacking it while having a pop at posters who do so.
Invited I believe. I presume you know otherwise though by the sounds of it?
