Not to worry. I did set up this mushroom thread as a catch all effort.
Mad story in Australia. I wonder how it will resolve.
I am conscious that even touching a poisonous mushroom could be dangerous. So I keep the ones I know are okay separate to ones about which I am not sure. You can never be over careful with mushrooms.

These are growing beside an old tree stump outside. Anyone have an idea what type of mushroom they are? @Malarkey
The Prince (Agaricus augustus) is a wild, edible fungi. Identify the prince via pictures, habitat, height, spore print, gills and colour.
Quite possibly this type. But impossible to be sure without handling them. You always need to be extremely careful:
A fairly common mushroom that can often be found in large numbers. When first spotted it usually causes a bit of excitement as it can resemble the Prince, then when smelt, disappointment sets in.

Formerly a member of the genus Lepiota, this mushroom has undergone quite a few taxanomic changes and is now accepted as a member of genus Echinoderma (meaning hedgehog or porcupine like skin).

Flush of lovely looking horse mushrooms in South Kilkenny.
Not as tasty as field mushrooms – but still nice and especially so in a blank year for field mushrooms.
Any of these the magic variety, IE liberty caps?
Has been a while but tis the season
I’m fairly sure they’re not
Thought as much. Much smaller is how I remember them. I’ll.just have to stick to licking batteries another while
