Is there any way of seeding wild mushrooms onto land?

What in God’s name will you do with all those, unless you have a restaurant specializing in fungi?

Chicken of the forest growing fir years on a tree locally , but never had the nerve to try it out, Hugh F W ( chef with the glasses chap) always raving about it

Nom nom

No.

Chicken in the wood is right nice – especially in a casserole.

All gone as of yesterday evening, bar some I will be having for lunch on toast with Fermanagh black bacon and scrambled egg.

Had plenty with parents at teatime. Distributed nearly all the rest to a dozen friends and one sister. The only thing I like more than picking them is eating them. That haul was three hours picking at a nice pace. There were two young buzzards screeching around overhead.

Seven week window left now, all being equal, for field mushrooms. Conditions building up the last few weeks. Hope to get quite a lot again on Saturday, when I am next out home. I have 20 and more friends who love to get a bag of mushrooms when there is a flush.

Yeah what the guy on tv made with it looked savage

I’m going checking my land today

There is of course but the land needs to be barren, no artificial fertilizers for many years. Rich in humus. Not your average field or lawn.

Well the first bit is spot on.

Yea, that should be years, not tears.
