We’re about to find out. Opening ceremony was superb.
It’s astonishing how worked up they get about the very basic skills being performed.
There is great pace and ferocious tackling, but skill level is virtually non existent.
Jesus this lad is out of it from the first tackle.
Or so it looked, he’s playing on.
Sea Eagles look the better side so far. Scrums are very even though.
This right winger for the Sea Eagles is a dreadful player.
Super try from Roosters who finally get and complete a set in the Sea Eagles half. That gimp of a right winger was pathetic defensively though. What a coward.
That clown got caught out again there but got bailed out. Roosters just need to kick it to him every time they have it.
Roosters should win this at a canter. They’re forcing it too much at the moment, just need to complete more sets.
All Sea Eagles now. Seems like the Roosters can’t cut out those mistakes.
Not over yet. This is a cracker.
Sensational try from the Roosters.
Another mistake from that gimp of a winger.
Does he have a beard and long hair?
Admins, merge this thread into the generic Australian oval ball games thread.
That is a sensational try. What a fucking finish. No surprise to see beardy winger fucking up yet again.
Sonny Bill has been magnificent.
Yep. David Williams I think is his name. I’ve been watching with the sound turned off.
Ha ha. A lad before the game predicted he’d the the “whatever yet mans name is” medal. They were blowing on about him the whole time, but the one game I saw I thought he was a good finisher but awful defender.
Is it over?

Yeah Roosters won.
He had two relevant passes all day. He ran the first into touch really oddly and dropped the second, which was difficult in fairness. He was at fault for 2 tries and was saved by his full back for at least one more. He looked lost out there.
